Saitama and Genos, an ultimate tag team |
Meanwhile, the 3rd season of One Punch Man has been announced.
Anyway, the first both seasons from One Punch Man have already been published in German Dub which I've already watched too. I was absolutely amazed.
The characters' respective German voices matches a lot, especially Saitama's German voice is one par with the Japanese one: How we know the too strong hero Saitama; sounding like a bored person as well as sounding like a serious and confident person in a tough situation.
Another voice which has really impressed me is Genos' German voice because he sounds too cool and also matches the original Japanese voice.
Remarkably, the German cast consists further very famous voice actors who already made a name for themselves with noteworthy roles:
Silver Fang, Dot Pixis and Hercule (dubbed by the same voice actor Elmar Gutmann) |
- Jannik Endemann (Mumen Rider's German voice actor) is also known as the German voice of Sasuke Uchiha (うちはサスケ) from the Naruto-franchise
- Elmar Gutmann (who dubs Silver Fang) also overdubs the role of Dot Pixis from Attack on Titan as well as the role of Hercule from the Dragonball-franchise. Very amusing, huh? A strong oldtimer; a wise garrison leader and an too much talking phony.
Snek and Guy haven't anything in common - except the German voice. |
- Robert Missler (the German voice of Snek) also dubs Might Guy from the Naruto-franchise. An A-class hero who couldn't even touch the too strong Saitama (who knocked him out by only one punch) and a forceful shinobi who reached even Madara Uchiha's level - by just working hard, notabene. Enough said about that.
Mumen Rider and Sasuke have the same voice in the German dub. (Jannik Endemann who dubs these both characters is one of Germany's best voice actors) |
However, it's just the tip of the iceberg. If you wanna see the entire German cast's list, please click here:
Conlusion: All in all, the German dub from One Punch Man is a really magnificent masterpiece. I rate it with 4.5 of 5 stars because it's on par with the Japanese Original dub. Everything has been translated correctly and corresponding, hence, nothing on the dialogues' meaning has been distorted.
In other words, if you wanna reduce the latency for Season 3 of One Punch Man, you can enjoy Season 1 once again by re-watching it in German Dub.
Now, up to you: Have you ever watched the German dub of One Punch Man? If yes, what do you think about it? Don't hesitate writing it in the comment section below.
PS: I'm also looking forward to the 3rd season of One Punch Man. Of course, it's gonna be satisfy the hype.
