Now, here're a few examples of the games I played in the GamesCom and which weren't yet released at that time:
- Dragon Ball FighterZ (release date: February 2018 for PS4, Xbox One & PC and September 2018 for the Switch)
- Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker (release date: 2018/8/31 for PS4, Xbox One & PC)
- Pokken Tournament DX (release date: 2017/09/22 for Nintendo Switch)
The 2,5D-graphic containing beat'em-up-game Dragon Ball FighterZ is a very good playable game with a nostalgic flair. Despite the character roaster is - currently - kept low, it's very epic.
I wish there was also a potential Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 but the current Universe Survival-arc from Dragon Ball Super is not over yet and we don't know what is next after it.
But it is a nice idea to release a game based on nostalgic graphic and features - a good alternation according to the Dragon Ball-games today. It is very addicting, so I would play this game again and again.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker |
The performing of the jutsu is also as simple as ingenious and you can run everywhere - even on walls.
Furthermore, it is a very impressive alternation according to the Storm-series (due to the fact that there is not enough content for a "Storm"-game, so it has established a new game series of the Naruto franchise).
I really like this game. Concerning to Kakashi, I wish he had both Sharingan eyes in this game and can perform the Susano'o.
Pokken Tournament DX |
The Support-Pokémon from this game are also very exciting. |
The Nintendo Switch-game Pokken Tournament DX - which is a remake from the Wii U-Version - is also a very good game. By the way, my favourite Pokémon is Mewtwo, so I played with Mewtwo as well as the Shadow Mewtwo. Indeed, I can say that Pokken Tournament is one of the best Pokémon spin-off-games (i.e. beyond the core game series) ever. It rivals the spinoff games Pokémon Stadium, Pokémon Stadium 2 (both for N64) and Pokémon Battle Revolution (for the Wii) and it seems that it surpass them.
Conclusion: I'm gonna buy the games Naruto to Boruto as well as Pokken Tournament DX when they are released but I'm not sure if I also should buy Dragon Ball FighterZ due to the small character roaster and some other missing features. But if there are enough features, it is gonna be worthwhile buying it.
All in all, the GamesCom was a very good event beyond compare.
And now to the QOTD: Have you also been in the GamesCom? Was it also very funny for you and could you also play these three games? Would you also buy them, when there are gonna be released? Please write it in the comments.
