Special Post: My commentary on the movie "Dragon Ball Super: Broly"

Have you already watched the movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly which has been released on 14th December 2018? If yes, have you enjoyed it?

Anyway, I've watched this movie too and I can say: It has satisfied the hype by surpassing the expectations. I'm very impressed. The fights are phenomenal, the animation techniques are abnormally doozy and, to top it all off, the entire story was very good.

Here are my top 3 things which I like the most on this movie:

I guess, Goku would be
jealous - due to the
dynamic on Vegeta's
red power.

Finally, you can see Vegeta with his red power (previously shown in the DBS-manga which is an alternate story beside the DBS-anime) in the movie. It has a dynamic effect - more dynamic than Goku.
Being on par with the legendary Super Saiyan Broly (but not even transform into his final form), was really surprising. Due to the flexibility and efficiency of the red power, Vegeta was able to damage Broly a lot. If he also transform into the Super Saiyan Blue Evolution (the same form as he used in the Tournament of Power), he could have defeated Broly even ten times before transforming into the Legendary Super Saiyan Form (aka Super Saiyan Berserk).
After all, it was really magnificent seeing Vegeta in his red form.

Of course, it had to be result into the moment where the fusion Gogeta appears, so let's come to the next thing:

Can't still believe it that Gogeta
has really been canonized.

Goku and Vegeta fusing to Gogeta, so they could fight Broly to a standstill, was really magnificent.
And Gogeta transforming bit by bit (at first to Super Saiyan, then to Super Saiyan Blue) was really, really...!!!

When it was - before release date - already announced that Gogeta appears, I was very excitied that Gogeta has finally been canonized.
Of course, it was very amusement that - before the creation of Gogeta (and probably as hommage to Gotenks in Dragon Ball Z)- the fusion has failed twice (i.e. a obese Gogeta and a emaciated Gogeta) while Frieza has pummeled by Broly heavily.
And no, I don't wanna discuss which fusion is better (Gogeta or Vegito) due to the fact that both fusions are very cool in their own ways and have their respective unique techniques.

As for Broly: To be honest, the canonized version of Broly is better than the non-canon one from the non-canon movies DBZ: The Legendary Super Saiyan and DBZ: Broly - Second Coming and DBZ: Bio-Broly - not only by the character design but also by personality's manifestation.

The non-canon-Broly has - perceived - only shouted: "Kakarott!", "I will destroy you, Kakarott!" etc. and was a gory fighting machine. By contrast, the canon-Broly is a kindhearted person, as even noted by Goku. The thing is: His father Paragus has always forced him to fight, due to his goal to wreak vengeance on Vegeta.

Tcha, Paragus remains (no matter if the non-canon- or canon-version) the same pipsqueak who considers himself as more important than he actually is and who uses his desire for revenge as paradigm for the rest of his life.

All in all, it's worth watching the movie DBS: Broly. From the entire Dragon Ball-series, it's the best movie which has been heretofore released. This movie was really a pleasure.

And now, I'm looking forward to the new episodes of DBS which are supposed to be aired in this year.

Special-Post: Mein Kommentar zu dem Film "Dragon Ball Super: Broly"

Habt ihr schon bereits den Film Dragon Ball Super: Broly gesehen, der am 14.12.2018 rausgekommen ist? Und wenn ja, wie hat er euch gefallen?

Jedenfalls habe ich auch diesen Film gesehen und ich muss sagen: Dieser Film ist seinem Hype mehr als gerecht geworden. Der hat mich so richtig geflashed. Die Kämpfe waren phänomenal, die Animationen waren wirklich unnormal erste Sahne und obendrein war die gesamte Handlung voll mega gut.

Hier sind die Top 3 Dinge, die mir an diesem Film besonders gefallen haben:

Bei dieser Dynamik wäre
Son Goku bestimmt
insgeheim neidisch.

Man konnte Vegeta nun endlich auch mit seiner roten Kraft sehen (denn davor war es nur im DBS-Manga, der eine alternative Story zum DBS-Anime darstellt, der Fall). Die wirkte so richtig dynamisch bei ihm, dynamischer als bei Son Goku.
In dieser Form dem legendären Super Saiyajin Broly (der da noch nicht seine finale Form angenommen hat) so richtig Kontra geben zu können, ist wirklich sehr überraschend. Aufgrund der Flexibilität und Effizienz, die diese Form mit sich bringt, konnte Vegeta sehr viel ausrichten. Wenn er sich zusätzlich sogar in den Super Saiyajin Blue Evolution (wie im Turnier der Kraft) verwandelt hätte, hätte er Broly sogar schon zehn Mal besiegt, bevor dieser sich in den Legendären Super Saiyajn (alias Super Saiyajin Berserk) verwandelt hätte.
Aber immerhin war es wirklich gut, Vegeta auch mal in seiner roten Form sehen zu können.

Natürlich musste es ja irgendwie darauf hinauslaufen, dass die Fusion Gogeta erscheint und damit kommen wir schon zur zweiten Sache:

Immer noch kaum zu fassen, dass
Gogeta wirklich kanonisiert wurde.

Dass Son Goku und Vegeta zu Gogeta fusioniert sind und Broly so richtig zusetzen konnte, war
wirklich atemberaubend. Dass Gogeta sich während des Kampfes, peu à peu, verwandelt hat (erst in einem Super Saiyajin und danach in Super Saiyajin Blue), war einfach nur...!!!
Als bereits vorm Film-Release angekündigt wurde, dass Gogeta auftaucht, habe ich mich so richtig gefreut, dass Gogeta endlich kanonisiert wurde.
Natürlich war es wirklich amüsant, dass - womöglich als Hommage an Gotenks' Debütaufritt in Dragon Ball Z - vor der wirklichen Entstehung Gogetas die Fusion zweimal fehlgeschlagen ist (erst ein Adipositas-Gogeta und dann ein abgemagerter Gogeta), während Freezer von Broly so richtig vermöbelt wurde.
Und nein, ich will jetzt nicht darüber diskutieren, ob nun Gogeta oder Vegito besser ist. Beide Fusionen sind auf ihrer jeweils eigenen Art und Weise voll cool und haben jeweils einzigartige Techniken in petto.

Was Broly anbelangt: Die kanonisierte Version von Broly ist viel besser als der Broly aus den Non-Canon-Filmen DBZ: Der legendäre Super Saiyajin, DBZ: Brolys Rückkehr sowie DBZ: Angriff der Bio-Kämpfer - und das nicht nur vom Character-Design her, sondern auch im Hinblick auf die Persönlichkeit.
Denn der Non-Canon-Broly sagte, gefühlt, immer nur: "Kakarott!!!", "Ich werde dich töten, Kakarott!" etc. und war eine richtige Kampfmaschine. Der Canon-Broly hingegen war, wie auch Son Goku bei im feststellte, eigentlich ein gutherziger Kerl; nur hat sein Vater Paragus ihn immer wieder zum Kämpfen gezwungen, weil er ja auch stets darauf bedacht war, Rache an Vegeta zu nehmen.
Tja, Paragus bleibt (sowohl als Non-Canon- als auch als Canon-Version) der selbe Pinscher, der sich immer als wichtiger darstellt, als er wirklich ist und seine Rachegelüste als Narrativ für sein restliches Leben genommen hat.

Summa summarum lohnt es sich alle mal, den Film DBS: Broly zu gucken. Das war echt der beste Film aus der Dragon Ball-Franchise, der jemals herausgebracht wurde. Diesr Film war ein Genuss.
Nun freue ich mich schon auf die neuen Folgen von DBS, die zeitlich nach besagtem Film angesiedelt sind und noch in diesem Jahr rauskommen sollen.

What if...: Bokomon and Neemon from "Digimon Frontier" had digivolved?

Admit it: You've at least once asked yourself if Bokomon and Neemon from Digimon Frontier are actually able to digivolve and after doing so, turn the tables in a fight. These both digimon have only acted as constant companions for the Digidestined and bystanders during a fight.
And I assume that they wouldn't need any human in order to digivolve because here and there in Digimon Frontier, some Digimon has been shown how they could easily digivolve and certain ones of them were also able to use Warp-Digivolution.

However, I researched concerning this topic and I could figured out - according Bokomon as well as Neemon - their respective official (or rather potential) digivolutions, Some of them have already been known to us.

Right now, I don't wanna string you along, so here we go:

Digivolutions

- Bokomon's official Adult-Level is Yukidarumon who did his debut in Digimon Adventure but in Digimon Frontier itself, Yukidarumon has only cameos. One way or another, Yukidarumon has proved to be very strong, hence if Bokomon had digivolved to Yukidarumon, he would have accomplished a lot - at least buying time for the DigiDestined during a fight.
- Bokomon's potential Perfect-Level is Pandamon who appears as major of the Toy Country in Digimon Frontier.
- Bokomon's potential Ultimate-Level is Darkdramon who debuted in Digimon Xros Wars as DigiMemory.

Neemon and his potential
Digivolutions

- Neemon's official Adult-Level is Centarumon who made his first appearance in Digimon Adventure too. If Neemon have digivolved to Centarumon, he would have accomplished a lot too. And a positive side effect could be the fact that at least two DigiDestined were able to go for a ride on it.
- Neemon's potential Perfect-Level is Assaultmon and it has never appeared in any Digimon series but only in video games: in Digimon World 3 but as Koemon's Perfect-Level and in Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory as medal.
- Neemon's potential Ultimate-Level is Cannondramon and appeared only in video games too. But in Digimon World 3, it doesn't act as Neemon's but Koemon's Ultimate-Level.

It should be noted that the game Digimon World 3 had already been released before the anime series Digimon Frontier was aired. Hence, it would have been possible and feasible implementing the digivolutions of Bokomon as well as Neemon in Digimon Frontier - at least their respective Adult- and Perfect-Levels.

Concluding from all these aspects mentioned, it seems that Bokomon and Neemon could have turned the tables by digivolution in a sort. And in an ideal situation, they would have been able to go places in Warp-Digivolution. However, it's really good how Digimon Frontier was and how it ended but anyway, a digivolution of these both Digimon would have been interesting.

Was wäre, wenn...: Bokomon und Neemon aus "Digimon Frontier" digitiert wären?

Gebt es ruhig zu: Ihr habt euch bestimmt auch mal gefragt, ob Bokomon und Neemon aus Digimon Frontier dazu in der Lage gewesen wären, zu digitieren und somit einen entscheidenen Einfluss auf das Kampfgeschehen auszuüben. Denn diese beiden fungierten nur als Begleiter für die Digikrieger (d.h. die Truppe um Takuya herum) und waren nur Zuschauer während eines Kampfes.
Und ich gehe mal davon aus, dass sie von sich aus hätten digitieren können, ohne auf einen Menschen angewiesen zu sein, denn man hat in Digimon Frontier einige Digimon gesehen, wie sie digitiert sind und in einigen Fällen sogar eine Warp-Digitation vollzogen haben.

Jedenfalls habe ich diesbezüglich mal recherchiert und sowohl bezüglich Bokomon als auch bezüglich Neemon konnte ich herausgefunden, welche Digimon ihre jeweiligen offizielle bzw. potentielle Digitationen sind. Einige der Digitationen kannte man schon bereits.

Da wollen wir mal jetzt nicht lange herumschnacken, also fangen wir an:

Digitationen

- Bokomons offizielles Champion-Level ist Yukidarumon; dieses kennt man schon bereits aus Digimon Adventure und in Digimon Frontier waren einige Yukidarumon zu sehen. So oder so hat sich Yukidarumon als sehr stark erwiesen. Demzufolge hätte Bokomon - wenn es zu dieses digitiert hätte - schon sehr viel ausrichten können, um zumindest Zeit für die Digikrieger während eines Kampfes zu gewinnen.

- Bokomons potentielles Ultra-Level ist Pandamon. Pandamon taucht in Digimon Frontier u.a. als Bürgermeister der Spielzeugstadt auf.

- Neemons offizielles Champion-Level ist Centarumon. Dieses tauchte ebenfalls bereits in Digimon Adventure auf und hat sich ebenfalls als sehr stark erwiesen. Also hätte Neemon - wenn es zu Centarumon digitiert wäre - ebenfalls sehr viel ausrichten können. Und ein positiver Nebeneffekt wäre es sogar, dass zwei Digikrieger auf es sogar hätten reiten können.
- Neemons potentielles Ultra-Level ist Assaultmon, welches bisher in keiner Digimon-Serie vorkam und nur in Videospielen auftauchte, und zwar einmal in Digimon World 3 - jedoch als Ultra-Level von Koemon -  und einmal in Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory als Medaille.
- Neemons potentielles Mega-Level ist Cannondramon und kam ebenfalls bisher nur in Videospielen vor und war in Digimon World 3 das Mega-Level von Koemon.

Es sei angemerkt, dass es das Spiel Digimon World 3 schon gab, bevor der Anime Digimon Frontier herauskam. Insofern wäre es durchaus im Bereich des Möglichen und Durchführbarem gewesen, besagte Digitationen für Bokomon sowie Neemon in Digimon Frontier zu implementieren - wenigstens das Champion-Level sowie das Ultra-Level.

Alles in allem lässt sich sagen, dass Bokomon und Neemon durchaus in gewisser Weise den Verlauf in eine anderen Richtung hätten lenken können, wenn sie digitiert wären. Und im Idealfall hätten sie es sogar zu einer Warp-Digitation bringen können. Aber so wie Digimon Frontier ist und wie es endete, ist es voll mega gut, jedoch wäre eine Digitation dieser beiden Digimon ziemlich interessant gewesen.
